Celeste Navas was a 2016 LAMI Fellow. During that role, her bio text was:

Celeste Navas is a rising senior at University of California, Riverside where was also an archives processing intern at the Tomás Rivera Library. She is also a Chancellor’s Research fellow conducting research on the Guatemalan STD study (1946-1948), focusing on the conditions and policies of government based records during the Cold War period. Her summer research focuses on biographical narratives of Latina and/or queer women in the Collective Biographies of Women database.
