Mariama Jalloh is a rising Senior at Spelman College and 2018 LAMI Fellow. She is a Political Science major on a Pre-Law track with a concentration on Gender and Politics. This summer in the University of Virginia’s Leadership Alliance Mellon program she will be conducting a comparison research the way psychological oppression affects Female Genital Mutilation victims in two environments.
