Sara Castro is from the University of Puerto Rico. She is double majoring in Foreign Languages (French and German) and Sociology, and is also a Mellon Mays fellow (2017-2019 cohort). During this summer, she will be conducting research on the relationship between educational language policy, language attitudes, and social/cultural identity in a classroom.
