Eric Johnson is the former Head of Outreach & Public Services at the Scholars’ Lab in the University of Virginia Library. He holds an MA in US History (George Mason University) and an MS in Library and Information Studies (Florida State) and has research interests in information sharing among creative people; citizen history; user-generated content in libraries, archives, and museums (LAMs); museum and library history; hospitality theory as applied to LAMs; public service librarianship; and communities of practice.
